Weddings should be a day of celebration, of convivial fun, adorned with decorous decorations, flowing white from the ethereal bride, and teeming with the intoxicating scent of love in the air. If only weddings and life were as fairytale-esque as the picture I just painted, but alas, real life isn't a fairytale, and neither weddings nor love is enough to save a relationship. When someone is emotionally immature or unintelligent, there's no amount of love or even rationality that can save the person. 

I'm a firm believe in the phrase, "love is not enough." Love has never been enough. As powerful as love is, it can't stop toxic qualities seeping out of a person, it can't stop or remedy heartbreak, and it can't halt the imminent Grim Reaper in all of our lives. 

In the story below, love wasn't enough to save the bride and groom from the torments of their fellow petulant guests. The protagonist is a woman who has a passive aggressive brawl with her brother's ex-girlfriend. Read the full story for all the juicy details.

  • To be honest, I'm a little confused about this whole story. I'm not sure how one has to do with the other. How does the petty ex-girlfriend dressed in white and Las Vegas feathers have to do with fake crying for attention? As long as you guys get it though.
